Picking the Right Material: Teak, Sheesham, or Plywood

I’ve always believed in being upfront about what goes into your furniture. Depending on your budget and where the piece is going, we usually recommend one of these three:

• 1. Grade-A Teak Wood

  This is the gold standard for a reason. Teak has natural oils that keep termites away and handle the city weather without warping. If you’re looking to build an "heirloom" piece-something you want your kids to inherit one day,go with Teak.

• 2. Seasoned Sheesham (Indian Rosewood)

  If you love a bold look, Sheesham is beautiful. It has those dark, wavy grain patterns that really stand out. It’s a very dense, heavy wood, so I highly recommend it for dining tables or bed frames that need to take a lot of daily wear and tear.

• 3. Premium Plywood

  For things like modern wardrobes, kitchen cabinets, or TV units, solid wood isn't always the most practical. We use high-grade plywood for these because it stays perfectly flat and allows you to choose from hundreds of different laminates or veneers to match your room’s colors.

  Most of our work is right here in this and surrounding areas. We’ve delivered to many major apartment complex. My team handles the delivery personally to make sure everything is perfectly leveled and installed before we leave.

How it Works: From Sketch to Your Home in 4 Steps

• 1. The Design Session:

  Drop by our showroom with your ideas. Whether it’s a furniture in our showroom, a magazine cutout, or just some measurements on a piece of paper, we’ll sit down with you to figure out the best design for your space.

• 2. Choose Your Wood and Finish:

  You don’t have to guess based on a tiny photo. You can touch and feel our actual samples of Teak, Sheesham, and Plywood. We’ll help you pick the right finish, too, whether you want a natural matte look or a high-gloss PU polish that’s easy to wipe clean.

• 3. The Crafting Phase

  This is where our workshop gets to work. Our craftsmen hand-carve and assemble your furniture using traditional techniques. We don’t rush this, but because we have everything in-house, we move much faster than a typical factory.

• 4. Delivery and On-Site Setup

  Within a week, our team brings the finished piece to your home. We handle the heavy lifting, do the final assembly in your room, and make sure everything is perfectly leveled. We also make it a point to clean up the workspace before we leave, so your new furniture is ready to use immediately.
